Any idea on how to produce enough clearance for 360 rotation? Need about 2 inches. Raising the level of the 6-point mounts probably won't work; the north/south mounts have enough additional height but not on the custom side supports. Extending the north/south arms from the bottom probably won't work either; the bottom fundamental bars are not long enough to have something over 2" to be stuck in between the arms and the base.
you have this adapter: http://www.tennisman.de/bespannmaschinen/motoren/adapter-fuer-wiese-2086-electronic-tennishead.html but you need this one: http://www.tennisman.de/bespannmasc...egt-fuer-wise-2086-electronic-tennishead.html the second one is not so high.
thanks for the info Alex, I did not know there is a lowered version of the adapter. upon examination however I do not think this lowered version adapter gives enough clearance for my machine; it seems to be at most 2 cm shorter while my machine needs at least more than 2 inches (even in the case that I strip down to original grip).
as far as I know, for dropweight machine, all of them would not have 360 degree clearance .... you can do a modification by putting some metals on the turntable base (you can do a customized by yourself), so it will increase the height of the turntable
goodeye, yes they are are the normal version. I don't even think the increased version will work since the 2 inches exceeds the height of the north/south mounts.
sounds good, I'm going to try if I can extend the root screws (by bolts + same diameter screws) then put something in between.
ooooooh look who it is, it's le biggybill! hey I didn't know you string? (actually I might have known.... but forgot) I dunno man, this machine has served me well.... I'm just tempted by the little 360 thing
lol.. i do and have benn for a long time now ... and yes 360 is seeeeeeeeeeeeeetttttt hhahaha rubbin it in haha but yah ... just get some longer screw and aluminum plate and raise your turn table easiest way
easier said than done la.......... what's ur setup? oh nvm just tell me in person in olive tonight lol
I second what Mark says above. When you raise the entire turntable, you need to make sure the turntable does not become wobbly and yet still turns easily. To make the raised turntable stable, some kind of cylindrical spacer needs to be added. That spacer can be referred to as a boss, bushing, sleeve, etc., but whatever you call it, you need one to keep the raised turntable stable.
Off topic. This is a "normal" "non Wise" (7mm lower than "increased) version, black painted and welded. Some adapter (or longer bolts and washers) to raise turntable will be brilliant solution for me. Only one version of the custom side supports would be needed.
thanks for the input people. now I have enough clearance for 360, but lose the fixed clamps somewhat LOL
Dude thats so getto man ... i am sure you can do better than that lmao ... BTW have you tried to pull a few test pull ... i am worried that it will give in and bend ... props for the effort tho hahahaha
it may look ghetto but its solid as a rock yo lol cheap as poo too, metal cylinder + drilling is too expensive, this i knock it dead with $2.50 haha visited two home depots apparently they don't have any patterned screw on the top in my 8m 70 spec so I had no choice really, had to use washers, so the top is pronounced hence the gaying of fixed clamps (i don't use fixed anyway)
