Lee CW's mind seems elsewhere in this tournament, slow start, hesitant, not fully into the game but luckily with so much in reserve, he can pull himself up anytime when it matters.

Ya,better don't play play with Sugiarto, he can bite you,you know. But nobody can help Chong Wei except himself, his is a mind game more than anything else because I don't see anybody his match here.

Hi I'm a true blue Singaporean too ... of an earlier era than you I think.

Well Aiying did relatively well here by defeating Mitani#2, and reaching the SF after a very long time. Hope this will inspire her to do better from now onwards.

If Tommy Sugiarto can beat Lee Chong Wei too, then PBSI should kick Taufik out and let him play instead....

Unfortunately your players from SIN are not local or true blue Singaporeans......only Derek Wong and Ashton Chen...

Well... most importantly they represent Singapore... so it doesn't really matter, does it? No one in the local scene would want to sacrifice big bucks to go into a uncertain future path of badminton. So they have to import talents.
Argh, Chooi/Ow should have won the 1st game... now it's the rubber, hope they have enough stamina!

For the WS yes, and as I've said my favourite is Fu Mingtian if only because I've seen her play before, against Wang Shixian I think, and she looked very serious, committed and determined. I find Gu Juan somewhat too laid-back which to me is a different thing from being steady, calm and collected. As for Xing Aiying, can't comment until I've seen her play, you're in a better position and more capable than me to do so. Unfortunately, the MS side still has a long way to go and far behind the ladies.
