    Deadline to submit the eligible players : Monday 11 June 2012 23.59 hours, BWF headquarters Time. ( +8 hours GMT)
    there is a phase 2 which has a later deadline. so the drama isn't over yet.

    according to the London 2012 Olympic Games Explanatory Guide Badminton;

    www.tpenoc.net/download/london2012/Badminton.pdf

    extracts;
    Confirmation and reallocation of quota places by 31 May 2012.
    All entries must be submitted to LOCOG using the online entries system
    by midnight, UK time, on 9 July 2012.
    All replacements requested by NOCs after the final entries deadline of 9 July 2012
    shall follow the IOC–LOCOG late athlete replacement policy.

    Therefore, replacements can still be made after the deadline of 9 July 2012 until presumably the draws been made.

    Later on in the document it also states that;
    In accordance with Part III, Section 6B, Article 1 of the BWF Laws of Badminton and
    Regulations (Olympic Games: Regulations for Badminton Competition), no changes or
    substitutions of any kind can be made to the entries after they have been made.

    So, may be the last date for confirmation is the 9 July 2012.

    yes, at first I also thought they will not make it this time. I don't know why they have been chosen. Maybe PJB is thinking that this might be Satoko Suetsuna's last OG, so, he let her to play.

    according to the latest entries, they actually have more points than Mimi/Shiizuka. so by points only they should be the one going.

    to decline now, if god's forbidden Firdasari got injured before the deadline INA has no option but to send YUSWANDARI, the next one down the line instead.

    what's the logic in it?
    if firda can't go to london for a reason or two, I think PBSI will send Lindaweni instead

    what i found it's odd that is PBSI practically said that no matter what they will not send their top ranked player Maria Febe.
    just wondering why?

    if firda's injury is serious now they have no option but to send their third WS!

    read from Firda's twitter.. her injure is not that bad.. i think she can go for OG. otherwise, Aprilia deserve the spot.

    .. and Firda's name is still there.

    Nope, based on last updated Phase Three (9th July 2012) it's already confirmed that Simon and Taufik will represent INA in London Games
