Wondering if it is normal to get paint chips after getting racquet restrung due to clamping?

No chips before but quite a bit after.

    Just curious.

Pictures would help. But as a whole no, if the stringer is careful there shouldn't be any paint chips

Thanks for the reply. Pictures are not necessary since i now know the stringer did not take enough care with my racquet. It is not just 1 or 2 chips. There are quite a few more. At least it is not an expensive racquet.

Where are these paint chips? Inside? Outside? Top?

on the outer frame? he probably clamped too tight. Was it a real chip or just deformed decos? VTZF is notorious for this as it does not have a clear paint to protect those delicate decos.

Yes, chips are on the outer frame. I also think he clamped too tight.
