    Question Vt7 / arc003 / ns500?

    Mid-End Yonex?
    Hi,

I'm looking for a new mid-end Yonex racquets, and I would like to ask your opinion on my choices :
    Voltric 7
    Arcsaber 003
    Nanospeed 500
What do you think of them? Which one is the best?

And regarding the voltric racquet, is the tri-voltage system really THAT good, or is it just a marketing gimmick?

I am a single-oriented player, plays mainly defensively, maintaining long rallies while waiting for the moment to smash the shuttlecock. I played once a week
    Thank you

only voltric high end (70 and 80) that has sound filter
voltric 7 does not have it
I don't really think tri-voltage system really matters though.. (for me it's just marketing gimmick)

maintaining long rallies and then smash.. I would say go for an all around racket (arcsaber 003)

    Thanks avenger
Yes, i've notices that vt7 doesn't have sound filters, it's only for the japan made right?
Have you tried the tri-voltage yourself?

i have to disagree with the avenger. I have had a voltric and i think the tri voltage system works i have had a vt70 for quite a while and it can smash pretty hard and it has a wicked sound to it when i do. It can also manuever as fast as a nano. I have a nano myself and theres not quite a difference in swing speed for me. Cheers to whatever you pick!

precrime3, thanks for your input. I've decided to pick the arcsaber 003, but I haven't bought it yet, still searching in stores.

    Hello,
I am trying to make this exact same decision between the AS003 and NS500, can you post some review on your AS003 if you get the chance? What made you make your decision in the end?

I'm really stuck on this. Anything you know would be a great help! Thanks.

i have the VT5 and have used the VT7, both are good for offensive style of play and have also tried the NS500.

I think if you're defensive, i'd go for NS500. I know the AS series is more balanced between the three. please share your thoughts on AS003 when you get it

Is the arc 003 really that good? I know it has quite good technologies for an intermediate racket.

I got it, it is a pretty good racket, although I don't play too much so I am limited in what I know. It took a little to get used to at first, because the racket is a little bit longer , but once you get used to it, I liked it.
