They feature two new players, one from chinese junior team (Matt He), other from china national team then singapore national team (Beiwen Zhang). They are currently under the Las Vegas Badminton Club team.
You kind of spammed my facebook btw are funky doubles the kind of doubles where you play each round with a different partner?
ha ha sorry Phili, I'm trying to promote the sport so if you get spammed I do apologize, you can hide my posts on facebook fyi Funky Doubles is suppose to be one weak player and one strong player, it can be men or women or mixed, the partners do not change, however this last club event, the FD was like A level doubles !!?!?! It was crazy! LD rules!, that girl.........she scares me, I saw GJ Watts a fair B level player get rocked in BMS by her. Even a A-- player from Thailand lost to her in a smash, drop, lift match in BMS semis.......the only reason she even lost BMS in finals is 'cuz she over stretched herself in BMD, Funky Doubles, and BMS.
Well she was ranked just outside the top 20 in the world not so long ago, so what else would you expect?
I expect girly smash, girly but GODly drops and clears like what I saw in US Open with Chu something that singles chinese girl that whooped everyone by dropping and clearing for like 30 minutes. I didn't expect, "U smash? yea? I SMASH!!".
No hard feelings So I can pick my partner myself? How do you control if it really is a stronger and a weaker player then?
You can pick whoever you want as long as they are willing to play with you. The balance of the game is filtered by club officials that organize the tournament. It is up to them whether this is fair or not.
