For Fleet experts, what are the differences between the 2? Also playabilities-wise, how do they differ? Somehow I feel that the WovenTi model is the old one, is that true? Any comments will be much appreciated.
Bro, Ti has arising to the level that the manufacturer cant afford. they forced to remove Ti without increasing any unnecessary cost on the racket. Ti-888 would be limited soon and not just old. =x The toughness of titanium would actually create a strong durable racket to withstand multiple stringing and knocks.
woven ti-888 is the latest top end model from Fleet while woven 888 was old model which already not in the market.
Ti888 = Ti3000 if you recognize 3500 and 3800, they are similar 2012 series. Ti3000 Head Heavy Woven Racket, 3800 Even Balance and 3500 also head heavy with 72 holes
The reason why to have 50lbs max is because of the Ti materials. It will very tough and can sustain very heavy pulling, that is why 50lbs is very possible. However, there is rare people will use more than 30lbs because we do not need that. I used 3800 only. Reason being is it is even balanced racket, and it is more suitable to my play style, for 3500, even it is wind break (6 angles if not mistaken) design, but due to it is head heavy racket and it makes the speed slower, so I stick with 3800, but wana try the Ti3000 if possible.
I don't even know of any string that can stand more than 40lbs. The highest i have heard of is 38lbs with a BG65 string. But, not sure how long the string lasts at that tension
