Hi All Badminton Lovers !

We are proud to be the official venue of the "1st YMCA KL Badminton Charity Tournament".

Game Categories are as below :-

1.Mixed Doubles
2.Female Singles
3.Females Doubles
4.Male Singles
5.Male Doubles

Closing Date : 29th May 2012

Registration fees : RM 350 per team.
No. of participants : Max 10 person in a team

Each category to play 2 sets. Team with most sets won (total from all 5 categories advance to next round). In case there is a tie, last match (doubles male will play a deciding match)

21 points system

Duece at 20-all, and which team gains a 2 points lead 1st, wins the game.

Date : 16th June 2012

Time : 1pm

Venue : Suria Sports Badminton Centre, USJ 1, Subang Jaya.(next to Mydin USJ)

Money collected from tournament to go to Orang asli settlement in Kuala Kubu Baru, mainly to the children. There are 40 children and funds must be raised to buy them school equipment.

Prizes :

Champion : RM1000 + medals+ bragging rights
1st Runner up : RM 700 + medals
2nd Runner up : RM 500 + medals

There are some slight changes to the tournament format – the women singles category will be replaced by the men doubles category instead. So the final line up for the team that is participating should be in this way:

o 2 pairs of men doubles
o 1 pair women doubles
o 1 pair mixed doubles
o 1 men singles

becoz women players are so hard to find.... YMCA plans 2 find 24 teams...so fat we have got 18 already!! so many ppl supporting charity...

closing date also extended to 5th of June...
