Yup ~ mine after removing the plastic protector without overgrip n string weight 90g.
Still it is over the standard 3U mark or on the highest end. And by adding AC102EX plus string, the wet weight became 96g. Happened for both my MX JJS and BS LYD.

Huh??? I believed any experienced people would know that 5g is around the weight for string and grip.. Are u sure your measurement is correct ?

Towel grip is heavier. The 5g rule mostly applies to string + overgrip.

    Wet weight = 100.4g

It is a 3UG2 strung with BG66UM @ 24lbs with plastic still on grip and a Yonex power overgrip (I think).

So dry weight should be around 88-89g.

I'm no expert at racket reviews but here's I felt about the 2 racquets... Keep in mind the play time I had with both racquet is limited and their setup is also different.

    JJS w/ VS850 at 26lbs
    AT900PLC w/ NBG99 JP at 26lbs

    Smash: JJS > AT900PLC

JJS is more powerful than the AT900PLC IMO... Swing speed (more aerodynamic head design I believe) and head heaviness helps me generate a more powerful smash.

    Drive: JJS > AT900PLC

Slight edge towards JJS. It just seems faster and more aggressive because being more head heavy, more momentum is generated faster.

    Defense: JJS ~ AT900PLC

Both are about the same. Unfortunately not many "defense" opportunity to really put this to the test.

    Stiffness: JJS > AT900PLC

I find the JJS stiffer with a higher kick point than the AT900PLC. I've never like Yonex rackets because of their stiffness (had to sell VT80 and VTZF because of stiffness issues). The JJS is definitely more stable than the AT900PLC especially after a heavy smash.

Head Heavy feel: JJS > AT900PLC

The JJS almost feels like the VTZF in terms of head heaviness. It feels like there is a massive lead block on the head but with a shaft capable on handling the heavy weight at the end.

Overall: JJS >> AT900PLC for me.

It really depends on your play style and physique. I would not use my AT900PLC for doubles game because I find it generally slower than the JJS for net play and smashing. The JJS is definitely more head heavy than the AT900PLC and it will take a toll on your shoulder after a while.

Thanks so much WoOZY! JJS sounds like a better version of the AT900P, I was looking for a more allrounded version of the At900P, so if the defense is similar and head heaviness is slightly more; i might have to look for another racket. Have you had any experience with the MX60, if so, could you do a similar comparison (MX60 vs AT900P)again?
    Many thanks again!

I don't have any experience with MX60 and about 99.5% sure I won't get one. So I definitely can't help there.

JJS is more like a better version of VTZF in my opinion. Personally I like my MX80 for doubles game. The extra stiff shaft and head heaviness (similar to AT900P) helps get the off the racket FAST. But using it for singles is difficult unless your footwork is really good... It is too repulsive and in singles, I need a bit of hold to plan out my shot.

Cool. Your racket and my racket weigh the same. I just need to get it re-strung with BG80P .

Then find orange overgrips, and get an orange shirt/shorts/shoes.
