The JJS is not a particularly durable racket with regards to the paint. It's a light coat with a matte esque finish. I think I already have a few knicks on mine whilst my MX90 and VT80 are still almost as good as new lol.

I noticed the same with my JJS. What racket do you think has a better, durable paint? MX80 or 90?
I believe white, silver, and black rackets are the best for concealing chips and knicks. Lol

Not really sure, maybe the MX90? But both have really durable paint application, and quite a thick lacquer layer. Much more than can be said for the JJS lol.

I wonder any of you have the same issue as me, I seem to have excessive string breakage from my pair of JJS. I have them range from 2 hours to 8 hours of court time life. Understand that I use a thin string of BG66UM and string it at 26x28lb, I am not expecting a very long playing life of the strings but from all of my previous racquets, they last a reasonable time of 15 to 25 court hours. Breakage location is rather consistence on either of the middle 8 mains but have some odd locations as well.

I won't call myself an advance player but I am a seasoned players and been playing for more than a couple decade. I have had the JJS for more than 2 months now so should be fully adapted to the timing. Recently breakage was just last night and that string is nearly new and only has a couple hours of court time.

This has been really frustrating, hope someone could shed some light.

    Ted

you should try switching to smth like bg80, it's much more durable.

For the longest time I just stuck with my VT80, which is still, along side the JJS, imo one of the best rackets currently available.
I own both the JJS and ZJH.
I bought the JJS first - and I was certain there wasn't a better racquet around.
That changed when I bought the ZJH.

The ZJH is the best racquet I have ever played with.
Nothing from Yonex, Li Ning or whatever comes close.

But, hey, that's just my opinion

PS: It's a shame the ZJH doesn't have its own thread.

This is pretty common - nothing to worry about.
