Well as i stated in my review, the vt 80 has more power and are stiff. But i think with a stronger wrist than mine you could get good power out of the Kinesis.
With the Kinesis i feel that i have very good control on clears and smashes. Even if it is a mid flex racket, when i get the hange of the speed of the swing it will be very good.
I will prefer the Carlton Kinesis for both doubles and singles from now on, i just love the "feel" of the racket. Its very hard to explain but it felt like an old friend, it felt like it was mine.

From the pictures it seems to have the same head geometry... Definitely seems to have corners at 10 and 2.Nice review. How it compare to carlton vapour trail tour ?. I read somewhere on the internet that the frame shape is different (optimetric vs circometric).

Absolutely a stunning looking racket. Based on the color, it seems that it is made for man.

Just for fun, check out the torsion on this racket, it's insane... Feels kind a cheap to me
I've had it in my hans for a while, feels kinda medium-flex head-heavy, but the frame has so much torsion when you twist the blade, you can almost twist it to 25% (45 degrees)...
Weird stuff for a racquet of this price...

Carlton doesn't sell in 'U's, but at a specific weight +-1g. If they say the racket weighs 89g, it could weigh anywhere between 88 and 90g.
The kinesis is specified at 86g.

86g +/-1 is not basically a 4U. It is 3U period ...
