ouch, it's hurt.

btw, what's your guys' problem if LD was born and play in China and Chinese team? yeah, he has a solid team behind his success, but is it his fault? is it chinese team fault? it's the other countries who can't catch-up with them yet. oh, and if u forget, not matter how many teamates LD has in a tournament, his encounter with his rivals/opponents always been 1 on 1 battle. it's never LD + CL + CJ versus anyone. it has always been LD vs somebody. so what? if he win, he deserves his win as much as his opponent deserves their lost.
and to add some material to your list:
he won 4 WC in different countries,
won 5 AE in england,
lead the team to win SC and TC in different countries, includes the so-you-called powerhouses'
peace.

He is only 28.....and will be a complete idiot to retire that early..
Since he is aiming to help China retain the thomas cup in 2014, he should be looking forward to the titles:
Sixth All England title
Fifth Sudirman Cup (this is an important one because they will plan to piss off the Malaysian audience with their stunning performance)
Fifth and possibly sixth world title ( Guangzhou 2013 and Copenhage 2014)
Sixth Thomas Cup 2014
Finally Asian Games 2014 incheon if he wants to end it there...
I hope Olympics would give him a wildcard entry to Rio 2016 if he managed to win gold in London. Then we might see him again playing in Rio at the age of 32

LD will retire when someone within China can take his place. That could be 2012, 2013 or 2014.

No China's players at that time, that's why he can win it 8 times. How about Asian Games gold medal ? I thought Rudy Hartono was a coward, that's why he affraid to compete in Asian Games 1974 when old giant Hou Jia Chang won 2 AG gold medals (team event & MS)

INA and SIN 2012 is not in the Olympics qualification period, so it is not right to measure the real strength of China's squad. How about INA SS 2007 & INA SSP 2011 when China's players are very motivated to win ? How many title that INA as host country can win ? Just for information, China won 3 and 4 Golds.

During Olympics qualification period, Malaysia & Denmark only can win 1 title when they host the SS event, while Korea, Indonesia & England can't win even 1 title. China ? At least 2 golds in those 5 events
