Back in 2008 and before, Lee Chong Wei used to wear big goofy watches on court. Did he need to know the exact time in the middle of a professional badminton match? If I recall correctly, he gave up the bling during that build-up to the Olympics when he transformed from skinny apologetic perennial #2 to the fiercer, chiseled, kick-butt #1. There's nothing wrong with wearing something of personal significance, but in LCW's case the change seemed to indicate that on court -- forget about looking good --it's all business.
what do you mean by jewelry? watches, ring, or necklace? or maybe you are talking about power balance that LCW use?
you know what's better than winning? winning while looking good! And if you're going to lose, at least you can look good doing it jewellery is win-win
If you had to pick two would you rather 1) Win and look horrible 2) Lose and look horrible 3) Lose and look good 4) Win and look good Jewelry. Isn't it obvious you sexy beast?
LOL. If only jewelry could help us all look good. Phiten, Rolex, whatever .... no matter how expensive the collar, a pug can't be made a poodle.
Ah... but can you imagine how much that pug would get paid for "endorsing" that branded jewelry while playing a game?
Then you should tell Lin Dan to wear his Olympic Gold while playing this year's Olympic. Those medals are not light at all! I felt Sattawat's Pan Am Silver Medal, that thing was freaking heavy!
