Hi i had ordered a NS 9000 sometime ago and the shipment arrived today via FedEx and well the packaging was very good not to mention the amount of bubble wrap. I got the racket in flat 5 days that is awesome seince it came all the way from Japan to India. Since the document is written in Japanese i am finding it hard to find out which exact model this is, its just written nanospeed 9000 there is no "Type X" or anything written. The local shop keeper who had arranged the shipment says its a Type X but i found that differs quite a bit from my racket in design. Type X: http://www.badmintoncentral.com/for...6415-Yonex-Nanospeed-9000-Type-X-JP-Brand-New Mine:
But if its fake the colour should match the NS 9000, non the less i am going to the store tomorrow and demanding an explanation. I also went trough http://www.badmintonrepublic.com/fake/index.html it seems to be ok in most of the tests but then again fakers can always adapt.
so it means its fake fake? thats the risk we need to face, bad luck on ur side but its a learning experience!
"If it's fake the colour should match" -> so if the colour doesn't match it should be genuine ? You need to take better pics, macro mode, no one can even read what it says on the racket ... and take a pic of the "document" as well . That big ugly square sticker already means it is not from Japan at all.
It's a counterfeit of a racket that doesn't even exist - that's a new one. Or maybe it's a Nanoray 900 from the future...
unfortunately, the wrong color definitively tells that it is a fake racket. i hope you managed to get a refund.
Jenni, I must say your racket is even worse than a fake they give you the cheapest racket they could get paint it with anything (do you see the paint? basic paint and they add yellow paint into it! compare it to the genuine one), and label it as NS9000 believe me, do not buy racket from local shop in India most of high end Yonex that being bought in local shops in India are fake (I checked many rackets and notice this pattern) could you please attach better pics of the racket? cone code and shaft serials, and also the butt cap? how much do you pay for the racket? time to return it to the shop there is no doubt that this is blatantly fake.. the paint job is not even close to the genuine one the bag is also fake and agree with Demolidor, if you see the rectangular sticker (Sunrise sticker) it is definitely not a racket from Japan (JP code or for Japan distribution) the Sunrise sticker is for some countries in Asia (however excluding Japan) the racket also has no "GS" mark which is proof of quality for JP code racket
I have given the racket back to the shop keeper today, he was very insistent that it was the real deal. After a long dialog and threats about cops the shop keeper gave me a refund partially in cash and partially in store credit. I still have the Nanospeed Excel so think i will buy some wilson topline 100 with that store credit. The price for the NS 9000 was about $300 which includes shipping from Yoshima to my home.
I would try to get all my cash back if I were you. That shop shouldn't be trusted if it sells fake rackets. Maybe the next time you buy a racket from them, it'll also be a fake...
Ask for a refund n show them how NS9000 should be looked.. I don't know if it's a fake Yonex, since it might be one of the low end yonex, but it's not a NS9000 confirm,n it's relevant enough for u to ask for a refund. Or maybe u ordered wrong. How much did u paid for it? JP code NS9000 if it's still available would at least costs u over than 200 USD (It should costs more nowadays than it used to,since it's rare now),n not including any shipping fees and custom clearance.
