With most recent degraded Aeroplane Black, it is still better and more expensive than RSL #1

Thanks Badder for the comment. Aeroplane Black label is getting popular in Adelaide.

my friend is in Hong Kong and he can get tubes of RSL Tourney #1 for 127/tube and if he buys 30 or more tubes it'll drop to 113/tube. that's HK dollars by the way, which is around $16 and $15 respectively. is that a good deal at all???

i'm just a little tired of wilson topline 80 breaking so quickly at 15/tube when on sale :(

Hi Gundamzaku, that's a reasonable price in SEA. If add shipping cost may lift the price.

I use aero and black as they're probably the best. They're more on the expensive side for sure, but they can take at least half a game of smashes before giving in. I hate RSL, they can't even take a few of my power shots.

Agreed with you, Optiblue. RSL's quality has come down fair bit lately, that's why I'm thinking of changing to Aero-black, but a bit costly, and not easy to get in Adelaide.

I don't really like the RSL Tourney 1 either but the Tourney Classic are really good shuttles. I liked them more than the Yonex AS-50s our opponents were playing with.

the final cost for me on the RSL Tourney #1 is $142.00USD for 10 tubes, and since my friend was buying them in bulk the price dropped a bit more than expected per tube. $14.2USD/tube. if these shuttles are of better quality than the wilson topline 60 or 80 then i'm good. $14 can't get you anything realistically consistent in the United States.

i am willing to shell out $23usd/tube for the aeroplane black because i know they are of great quality, but if i can save a buck here and there, i'll do it.

actually the cheapest i've seen aerosensa 30 go for is 23, is that a good price as well??

Not sure of that price. I'm still searching for more durable and reasonable price one. It's not so easy to have choices in Adelaide. May be I should start a wholesale business here. :p

I have heard the durability of both shuttles has declined with the recent batches. Have you tried Chao Pai Reds?

I have heard of Chao Pai but never use it before. May be should look for it and give it a go. So you reckon it's worth a try. How's the durability?

They have had some good reviews recently and worth buying a tube. If they sold them in the UK I would try them. Check out the threads on cork and plastic based shuttles as well.
