    Hello,
I'm interested in knowing what the owners of the Yonex Armortec 700 paid.
You see, the Armortec 700 will be released here in the Philippines around next week. I asked the sales person the price and he said that the 700 will cost around P17,000 Pesos, or roughly $309 USD.
Checking the Yonex Japan website, the 700 lists for 22,000 Yen or $186.726 USD. Now that is a big difference. I hope the sales person was wrong as I was really hoping to treat myself to a new racket...

the armortech will be available on the weekend here in manila. of course these are not from the official yonex retailers but from the VIAJERO'S that come and go to HK,Indonesia and Bangkok, etc...
the 700 is the best model compared to the 500.
if you like a heavy racket, go for the 3U version. and when i say its heavy...it's really a HEAVY racket. Tried the 4U version just this evening and personally feel a better balance as far as weight is concerned.
It will probably reatail for about P13,000 to P14,500. prices may still change of course.
text me this weekend if your interested.

Around £135 in the UK is the usual price to pay. ~$200.

After posting the web address in another thread, Central Sports are now selling the AT700 at £110. ~$165.

    A very good price!!

I bought my AT800DF in Japan last April for P8,000. The prices of the MP99s and the ATs here inthe stores in Manila are way too high  The MP99 costs only bath4,000 in Bangkok.

I believe it is a fake one.

I believe that it is a fake AT700 racket.

My conclusion is based upon 1: Who would put the paper cover back after stringing. 2: It is a CH version, the seller is in UK, right? 3: the seller doesn't show the full cover there. 4: the handle of the racket does not have the bar code label(maybe on the other side). 5: the paint job is too smooth and bright to me.
P.S. The full cover for a fake racket is made of cheap materials, we can tell at once
    Think about it

I think it is a fake racket as well, however, some of your points can be in danger if applied to other racquets (including genuine ones):

    1. Many stores in Asia put the paper cover back on just for the looks. Customer likes that piece of paper even because it has the stecil logo on it, and you can use it to spread-paint the logo on the strings yourself later on.

    2. People can import CH to UK, and I don't see anything wrong with that. As we know there are real "CH" out there, we can't say importing racquets are fake ones, otherwise, Everyone imports "JP", "US", "CD"....to UK and all the sudden, those racquets become fake ones, which doesn't make sense.

    3. Full cover doesn't need to be shown. We can not say the case is in cheap materials unless he shows it on the picture. Also, he doesn't need to include the full cover, I don't see how not including a full cover can be a reason for a fake racket. Anyone get a a racquet, throw away the cover, but the racquet remains the same without the full cover, see what I am saying?
I have seen sellers use Real Case with Fake racquets in other auctions, so we need to be careful on inspecting racquets.

    4. Yes, This is where I think makes it a fake racquet. No CS Cap.

    5. I wouldn't say that unless I can touch it by myself with my fingers. The pictures is too far and too blurry.

I think this racquet is fake too b'coz this seller also has a mp99 for sale and bluejeff have already verified that that one is a fake :p . So I guess this guy sells fake racquet only.
