    Default One Form?

In badminton are all overhead shots identical in form besides the last part? Would you just use the wrist to alter the shot in the end, like a clear or drop, but keep everything else the same?

    Yes.

If you keep the form the same...your opponent would not know what shot you are performing. Thus it delays them from anticipating your shot and getting that 1 extra second to get to the shuttle early.

I got to practice keeping my form the same.

Last night my friend said he figured out (see) when I'm doing a drop instead of a smash. Probably explains why I was shocked he got my drops recently as he never got them in the past.
