Can somebody suggest a good Stringer for me, I try a lot of shop but there are so disappointed. Tension not accurate, tension drop easily, string break fast as well. Expecially, I strung at a shop which is nearby Tampinese Sports Hall before, there is "botak" uncle give me a poor service, their stringing skill not profesional. Tension 25lbs become tension 22lbs, waste money.... I won't there anymore! Somemore, I ask for claim back my Yonex Racket which is bought from there last month but the uncle said I have to pay half price for my racket if I can claim back from Yonex Sunrise. So ridiculous........:crying:
Whoa, you sound really...furious. Just curious how you came up with "tension not accurate", did you have a reference to compare against? If you previously have a racquet strung by a good stringer, maybe it is a good idea to stick with him/her. As for the tension drop, it will happen and it is a fact of life, though a good stringer will help to mitigate tension loss, he/she can't eliminate it. Tension drops as time goes by, and usually it will drop futher 1-2 lbs after hitting for one or two session. Some strings hold tension better than others, for example, the Zymax strings by Ashaway are very good at holding tension. Thicker strings (0.69/0.70mm) tend to stretch more and is more prone to tension loss. Pre-stretch helps, especially with elastic strings like VS-850. Next time you have your racquet strung, spend a little time watching the stringer doing his/her job - there are usually problems with stringing too fast (cut corners) or too slow (not skilled/experienced). Also take note of the stringing machine he/she uses, assuming the same stringing skill level, an Electronic Constant Pull machine will produce a much more consistent string job than a manual crank machine. If you are a really, really good player who is sensitive to minor change of stringbed stiffness, you can probably ask your stringer to try a different pattern (e.g. Haribito instead of standard Yonex pattern). The Haribito pattern stringbed will feel slightly stiffer and has a slightly more concerntrated sweet spot. However, if your stringer does not do a proper job, no pattern is going to save you.

Hmm if you dont mind traveling, i know the official stringer for a couple of superseries events, he strung rackets for Lee chong wei and taufik (a whooping 35lbs!) His name is Rolan he is now somewhere in queensway shopping centre! Also i know of this guy who was a specialist(technician) who restrings well, he works in Choa Chu Kang area, he has a shop in keat hong shopping centre but is not always there, so maybe u might have to specially request for him to restring! i hope this helps!
