PBSI decided not to send them due to their poor performances earlier in the All England.

By going further in the world champs.

Puella may not be entering very many tournaments. If his style is largely based on deception, after such a high profile win, opponents will be studying his strokes to combat him. Especially after such a spectacular win. The Indian team may think it's in the best interest of the country to save him for the World Champs as well.

I am surprised to see all of china's men's players in the draw. Many times they would be withdrawn on the run up to important tournaments. Perhaps Li Yong Bo is being realistic about their chance of a World Champs title for Men's singles...i.e. none, so therefore puts them out to the tournaments anyway. OR feels they lack competition experience (surely not).
