Matches involving INA players: MS R32 Du Pengyu [5] vs Sony Dwi Kuncoro - a rematch of last week's INA SSP QF match. Du has the edge. Andre Kurniawan Tedjono vs Wang Zhengming - Andre did well to qualify for the main draw, but I think the CHN player will take this one. Taufik Hidayat [7] vs Chong Wei Feng - Taufik should win this. Dionysius Hayom Rumbaka vs Hsu Jen Hao - Hayom needs to show more solid performance but he has the tendency to give up easily when the odds are against him. Tommy Sugiarto vs Shon Wan Ho [8] - Shon to take this one. Alamsyah Yunus vs Daren Liew - Daren Liew has improved much and this will be an entertaining match. I hope Alam can beat him. WS R32 Yip Pui Yin vs Maria Febe Kusumastuti - I don't think Febe can beat the Hong Kong player. Petya Nedeltcheva vs Lindaweni Fanetri - tough to call...but I hope INA can have at least 1 WS rep in R16. Aprilia Yuswandari vs Tai Tzu Ying [5] - Tai has the edge. MD R32 Hendra A. Gunawan/Yonathan Suryatama Dasuki vs Christian John Skovgaard/Mads Pieler Kolding - the newly paired INA pair to take this one. Markis Kido/Hendra Setiawan [4] vs Juergen Koch/Peter Zauner - a tricky tie for Kido/Hendra, but I still think they can fulfill their seeding. Angga Pratama/Rian Agung Saputro vs Chan Peng Soon/Ong Jian Guo - Angga/Rian also need to be more consistent and much is expected of them. They should win this and face Hashimoto/Hirata yet again in R16. Terry Yeo Zhao Jiang/Liu Yi vs Bona Septano/Mohd Ahsan [3] - Bona/Ahsan have really disappointed in the past few matches and they are really one of INA's weakest MD pair to qualify for the Olympics. WD R32 Pia Zebadiah Bernadeth/Rizky Amelia Pradipta vs Fu Mingtian/Xing Aiying - Pia/Rizky to win this. Vita Marissa/Nadya Melati vs Duanganong Arunkesorn/Kunchala Voravichitchaikul - the Thai pair has the edge. Nitya Krishinda Maheswari/Anneke Feinya Agustine vs Eom Hye Won/Jang Ye Na - Nitya/Feinya better start to beat KOR and JPN pairs. This will be a tough start for them. XD R32 Fran Kurniawan/Shendy Puspa Irawati vs Terry Yeo Zhao Jiang/Dellis Yuliana - Fran/Shendy should take this and receive a free pass to QF with the withdrawal of Towi/Butet. He Hanbin/Bao Yixin [5] vs Adi Pratama/Nadya Melati - the CHN pair should take thos. Yoo Yeon Seong/Jang Ye Na vs Muhd Rijal/Debby Susanto [8] - this could be Rijal/Debby's last chance and it will be a tough match for them. The Korean pair has a slight edge. Markis Kido/Pia Zebadiah Bernadeth vs V. Diju/Jwala Gutta [6] - the IND pair has the edge.
Tontowi has a slight injury and they prefer to stay at home to prepare themselves for the Olympics than risking further injury.

There can be a match between Greysia/Meiliana and Jwala/Ashwini in round two. Hope it would be interesting.
This is worth a long shot, but here goes.. Anyone going later today and shooting photos of players (while in action)? If yes, could I join your group or you, cos I'll be shooting some? Maybe we could compare notes. I dont bite and I'm a lady. I'll be in the regular seats section.
Despite the withdrawals, the show must go on. Thought about this one but I don't think Minatsu is quite up to the level of SJH. Best of luck to her anyway
Nice to see 2011 World Championship silver medalist Cheng Shao Chieh back in action, can't recall the last tournament she was in that I followed. Tough first round opponent though...
Yeh, I was wondering that too, I think I was speaking more out of hope than belief. Still, she showed a lot of fight in the World team championships, and last week Sung ji hyun was making loads of errors vs Saina, guess there's a slim chance. Should be quite some height difference between those two
