The Taiwanese seem to have perfected the art of conserving energy.
They appear limp for a large part of the match, with shorts bursts of activity, especially in the rubber. Both CSC and CYC/CWH. And it seems to be working, as they have won all their matches so far. But this tactic may have problems against a workhorse like Juliane, who had literally bled SJH of her last ounce of energy, retrieving even the nearly impossible.

Disagreeing on the WS, and choosing Juliane. The WD may be a tight one, both having beaten two strong Japanese pairs to reach the final. Boonsak will probably need to pull out a rabbit from the hat to beat WZM.

This is (sort of) off topic, but I have seen highlights of Ronald Susilo playing this year in the doubles event, however I noticed him using Yonex equipment... If I remember correctly I read that he signed a big contract with Li-Ning a couple of years ago, what happened to that?!

The Cheng Shao Chieh vs Juliane Schenk encounter is a rematch of the World Championship Semi-finals in 2011 (yes the last one). CSC won that match, I'm really really curious to see who will win this one.

On the Topic of CSC, is it just me but do her clothes look too big for her? I know she's a small lady but her shorts come down to her knees and her sleeves seem to extend to her elbows, kinda exaggerates her petite frame.

...anyway, I'm also looking forwards to watching Kido/Setiawan in the MD finals, alwasy great fun watching those two.

    MD FINAL
Markis Kido/Hendra Setiawan [4] vs Ko Sung Hyun/Yoo Yeon Seong [2] - the expected Final and Kido/Hendra haven't beaten Ko/Yoo for the past 2 years. The title should be the KOR pair's to lose, but, of course, a SS title in Singapore for Kido/Hendra will probably mean a nice farewell gift if they are to split after the Singapore SS.

Kidho/Hendra will be the highest ranking INA MD pair in 2012 Super Series ranking and they have good chance to qualify for the Super Series final if they continue playing in the last 6 SS events. But they have decided. Time for other pairs to do well in the 2nd half of 2012.

I don't understand the bolded statement, based on H2H, Kido/Hendra beat them in Denmark Open last year.

err... is it really true, they will no be a partner after this?? If yes, I hope Hendra Setiawan will be in pelatnas.

at the minimum the winners will be from 3 different countries.
likely that the winners will be from 4 different countries.
but unlikely that they will be from 3. that will require Cheng Wen Hsing / Chien Yu Chin to beat Bao Yixin / Zhong Qianxin. or Boonsak to beat Wang Zhengming.
