I have noticed a bit of a lag in the last week when accessing the site. I wonder what could be causing it?

I also noticed the "lag" problem.

Is that possble because the provider build up new layers of "firewall" due to recent worm virus alert???

I thought only I got such issue, since my office computer was quite slow these days...

I didn't find any lag time in accessing recently. That's pretty good considering I have double firewalls running.

Things appear to be normal for me.

I think it's because BF is on a shared host and that host is not using a hard drive fast enough for its needs and/or not caching enough due to lack of ram and such. The page loads up "fast" but the icons take forever to load.

A few days ago, I would get the "Page cannot be displayed," message which is usually cured by trying again. Normal for me now though.

the problem seems to be intermittent for me as well. sometimes (like right now) i have very fast response, but sometimes it will be a slow as a turtle.

For the record, I've also come across the "Page cannot be displayed" problem a few days ago. I also noticed some increased delay, but this isn't Diablo or WC3, so no harm in waiting a second or two.

I haven't noticed anything other than that sometimes, when posting, it takes a long time for the server to respond.

Sometimes it is slower, but only a few seconds, which is only natural, go to any website and sometime you have to wait a few seconds, I guess the annoyance for you is the 2 seconds away from badminton can really frustrate!:)

I heard that the internet in general has been slowed the last month due to virus and spam email generation etc
