Well, this is something I couldn't believe myself but I saw someone who looked like Sigit B. at ClearOne on Tuesday evening. I mean the guy has similar facial feature, body shape and height as the real Sigit B. So, I asked him his name and where he plays. It turns out he plays in Vancouver!
a Sigit look-alike? it must be quite intimidating to step into a court, look over the net and see Sigit waving his racket preparing to receive your service! or are you just halucinating, Peter?
Rick, he is not Sigit for one. His name - I couldn't remember exactly - is either Daniel or Henry. I don't think the real Sigit speaks English. By the way, he partnered with a girl this Tuesday evening. BC'ers who were dropped in at ClearOne this Tuesday evening should recognize the guy. TTT and I played against him two Tuesday ago and lost . Kwun, the Sigit look alike has excellent defensive capability. Offensively he seems just too relaxed to kill the birdie. It seems he is not in a hurry to finish off his opponents and relies on tactics to outplay them. I will try to take a photo of the guy the next time so stay tune . Peter
Cheung, playing against him is like playing against a relaxed Mr. Ng. He doesn't need to smash . In fact, I never see him smash his opponents to pieces!
