Hi, Could you please help confirm if this is completely legitimate. I believe so but appreciate confirmation from your expert eyes. Images are from seller and last image I used LR to enhance the number. As told to me 3224687, 030222JP. Images can not confirm the first set of number on shaft. Thanks!! --Hugh
Hi Kwun, From a member on this site. Price at $210 CAD shipped. Basically new condition. Communication has been good and everything seems kosher thus far. I have checked out other of his posting as well. JP code doesn't mean much to me as I played it hard. But if it is price reasonably why not. If there is any doubt, I would rather look else where and buy it new. Please let me know your thoughts? thanks --Hugh
are u using camera phone? too many digital noise here. Maybe u should it in a place with plenty of light
Those are from the seller. I would be using my D3 to take the pictures. With Avenger confirming the serial number is as expected, I have moved forward with the purchase. I should receive it soon and I will retake the pictures. thanks Hugh
I received the racket and using my jewelry magnifying glass with a light, I can confirm that the serial number above is wrong. It is actually 3224607. The number is extremely hard to see with the bare eyes. I would assume most people pencil it in. Secondly, I notice the racket has a matte finish and not glossy. Is this normal? Newer pictures attached. Thanks --Hugh
you might want to see the answer on VT-ZF thread.. let me sum it up for you: VT-ZF is using matte finish and to add, they use sticker for the frame (needs to be very be careful when mounting it on to stringing machine) 80 number differences is insignificant, yonex make around 3000 racket per day, so I'm sure 80 is more or less in the range
Thank you! It looks and feels great. I am still disturbed with the seller telling me it is 3UG5 but the racket is actually 3UG4! As you said the serial number is not a big deal but this G5 is and it is clearly stated on the racket. I am thinking I can use it but the principle really bothers me and my other rackets are G5. Hugh
if the handle is too big, you can use cutter to make it small (shave the wood) or you can apply thinner grip than you normally used
