What string did you use and at what tension? Your evaluation is flawed.....

First batch over here were all 4U rackets. I know this will not suite me, so I've ordered the 3U-G4 one. Now I have to wait for the next batch which will be at the end of the year. First impression holding the racket is that it feels light, but not the same as the NS9900, which is the ultimate head light racket for me. Also heard from a NS9900 player that the racket did not play the same as the NS9900 and sold it already. Maybe really have to wait for the next big thing...

My "badminton brother" has acquired the NR800 (along with the NR500 and 600, and the I-Slash, incredibly), so I should be reviewing soon

btw i own this thing. not that i borrow fr someone and claim it is lousy and those in my bag are super 'stiff' and next day it is out in 'buy and sell'.

They "always" put it on series with 4U versions. Voltric, Armortec also have ultra light weight on the shaft.
Just balance the racket on your finger (or thinner, like a ruler) and remember the letter(s) where it is balancing
. Then measure, straight, from the buttcap.

Any real difference between Japan Version and AS Version, both 3UG4 and both Made in Japan?
There is a 100 dollar price difference in Australia

Bought a nanoray 800 on impulse.
My first session with the new toy wasn't too good.
Whilst it is definitely a superior control racket and gives me the confidence to direct the shuttle to anywhere I want on the court, its lack of smashing power is concerning.
Anyone else tried this racket and help me resolve this problem of lack of smashing power?
I will keep playing with it still......

^^ What's your previous racket and string? And what string is on the NR800 now?
