Sounds kind of fishy to me. What do AS-40s usually cost in your area? Here in Germany they cost around 20€ which is like 31 SGD. You still could meet up with the guy and have a closer look at the tubes and shuttles

    Hi Phili,

In SG, the retail shops are selling AS-40 in the higher 30 bucks region - 37 to 40 SGD. Therefore I do think it's very fishy as well. Thanks for the advice! I will meet up and have a closer look at the tubes and shuttles before buying.

It's kind of funny that there's a 'Recommended by China Badminton Association' brand there haha.

I highly doubt they're legit. Try buying from a local store in big numbers and get a discount

Hi Canti, where are you getting such cheap shuttles? Perhaps I should get my friends in US to buy and ship them over lol.

Thanks Timothy, I feel so much safer dealing with shops. How about going to Queensway shopping centre there and buy from there?

I doubt your friend can get them at the same price as me because I don't buy it full retail, I always get discounts from the dealers. However you can still get aeroplane black for a damn good price with a bulk discount.
