Hi guys, just wondering if it means anything for either my technique or just the type of shuttle if I have an easier time hitting a backhand clear with a feather shuttle and a hard time backhand clearing a nylon shuttle? Usually with nylon shuttles, my backhand ends up around the midcourt area while when I use feather shuttles I usually have no difficulty in clearing to the baseline. Any insight is welcome!

    1. footwork, get there in time.
    2. grip change.
    3. racket preparation, or pre-swing preparation.
    4. timing - hitting.
need video - difficult to show details with words.

so the difference is in the shuttles, nylon vs feather?

that means you'll need to use slightly lower tension strings (1-2 lbs less) for the nylon shuttle

that's how i'm set up: one set of rackets with lower tension for plastic, and another set with higher tension for feathers
