    Yes, the correct spelling should be Chung Jae Sung (as per BWF's list), rather than Jung Jae Sung..

    Also Yoo Yeong Seong > should be Yoo Yeon Seong

    A lot of people are choosing CJS/LYD.
    (CJS being the name on his passport.)
    I also think that the Koreans will beat CY/FHF in the final. They seem in form and are injury free.
    As long as they don't make the same mistake as 4 years ago; can anyone really stop them once they get the ball rolling?

    I think LYD/CJS, I would pick KKK/TBH but they aren't consistent

    They have been inconsistent long enough to be consistent

    Do not waste your time predicting Koo/Tan's score against Koreans. They will lose for sure 100 percent. They should just give up the match and concentrate on beating the Americans and Japanese.

    For China, I think the best strategy is to set up a QF between Cai-Fu and Chai-Guo; let Cai-Fu progress to the semfinal easily.

    It's a waste of space and time anyway to hope Chai-Guo and Cai-Fu in separate knockout halves. Chai-Guo are just there to lose anyway; their sacrifice is the best contribution to increase China's chance in the MD.

    JJS and LYD have been my favourites ever since I first saw them at the WC last year. They seem to have an intensity and passion to win like no other pair that I've seen. Hoping to watch them one last time in the finals against CY and FHF ;)

    I´ll root for JJS/LYD, my favourite pair.
    KKK/TBH or KSH/YJS also have a good chance to reach the SF.
    I think JJS/LYD in at least good form should reach the Final.

    I´m so happy that CY/FH have MB/CM in their half, finally they have to play each other. So rare to see a clash between these pairs!

    I think Issara/Jongjit or Kawamae/Sato are capable of setting an upset...

    No according the draw and rules, Cai-Fu will avoid playing BoMo and JJS/LYB provided both top their Group C and D respectively.

    Cai-Fu are the luckiest actually not play any of them until the Final. This is how it will work,

    QF1 = Cai-Fu vs Chai-Guo
    QF2 = Ko/Yoo vs Koo/Tan
    ----------------------------------------------------
    QF3 = BoMo vs Lee/Fang
    QF4 = JJS/LYD vs Ahsan/Septano

    To increase China's chance in MD, just ask Chai-Guo to lose la. They cant win anyway.

    And look at the bottom half of the knockout stage, the big boys are fighting among themselves for a place in the final. China is quite smart on this category. Hopefully they dont mess it up.

    sad for Chai/Guo.

    Their mission in this Olympic games are to deliberately lose to Bo/Mo and CY/FHF. Sad.

    Sending them to compete or not to compete = no difference.

    Might as well use them to help the better pair win.

    I'm really hoping for a final between Cai/Fu and Lee/Chung, that would be awesome. Very hard to predict too, it's really a 50/50 situation but I picked the Chinese simply because they're my favourite pair. Also they've been known to peak at the major events and the Chinese squad probably has the best preparation. Surely the most thrilling discipline for me, I expect a lot of great and close matches.

    Oh no, god, how easy it seems to make the final for CY/FH, ridicolous :///
    Damn the other way it would have been way more interesting for me...
    Thanks for correcting me :)

    China is gonna fix this one for sure .

    I mean....like....logically, mentally , rationally who in the right frame of mind would ask Chai - Guo to try and beat Boe/Mogensen while Cai - Fu are so likely to finish as winner of Group A so in the end it's Mogensen/Boe vs Cai - Fu in the QF and Chai Guo in other half..

    That is strategically flawed.....
