I am sorry but didnt find so important thread. How should we see all this? Any Youtube, whatever? Oh, I see even our Israeli Misha still is in the top32 to play, how he reached this. He plays on 28th and 29th, will be something on TV?
If I'm not mistaken, IOC will provide live streaming of Olympic games on You Tube http://www.youtube.com/olympics. But, not sure which sport that will be broadcasted. About local broadcaster, you can see the list at http://www.olympic.org/content/broadcaster-home/.
I doubt the IOC will be streaming events. They're more likely to post pre-amble + opening and closing ceremony.
I know NBCOlympics.com is streaming for all US residents with verified NBC. I am watching Womens' Soccer at the Olympic Games atm. badmintonlink.com should have some matches too.
They will provide live-streaming to the countries without rights-holder for the event. http://www.olympic.org/content/broadcaster-home/
in the US, the only LIVE TV broadcast of badminton throughout the whole week is the Men Doubles Bronze medal match. everything else are recorded. what a disgrace. thanks goodness they provide streaming. i guess i won't be turning on the TV that often.
I'm a little resentful of ESPN for not trying out their 1080p format earlier before London. There is a huge visible difference between 720p and 1080p.
i may safely assume that the residents in those 'frugal' countries with "IOC http://youtube.com/olympic" on above link are fortunate enough to still have some IOC generous free tube live streaming and as a matter of fact, the overwhelming majority of those less-privileged countries happen to be located in Asia-Africa, the so-called ""Underdeveloped or the Third World". So, to many, happy streaming... hopefully their servers are strong enough to treat all the simultaneous loads ps. another hope, may CCTV HD (High Definition) cater some badminton live given it's on the sat. receiver's channel list. just upgraded the receiver unit to an HD one, have to say it's offering quite enjoyable viewing experiences and worth the every buck spent on it.
Malaysia's Astro Supersports thru ESPN has 10 dedicated Olympics Full HD channels + 1 ESPN HD + 3 SD (ESPN, Star Sports, ESPNEWS) covering the Olympics programme.
According to NBC's website, Tony/Howard vs JJS/LYD (well it says Hyun Il Lee for some reason) and against Kawamae/Sato will be live both on MSNBC starting at 12:45 PM and the bronze medal match like you stated.
How to watch on BBC ? I do not see any badminton programme included in any BBC channel. The same for youtube as well. How to watch the first match tomorrow scheduled at 8.30 am ? I do not want to miss Laybourn/Juhl vs Lee/Ha game.
