    Hello,

so on Friday I tried out an Arcsaber 008 cause I thought it was the Arcsaber 10 since it looked almost the same, but that was because it was the 2012 model. Anyway I thought it played really really good. So I want to ask is the Arcsaber 10 about the same or is it quite different? Cause I thought about buying an Arcsaber 10, but if it's almost the same as the Arcsaber 008 I could save half the money.

And what about the Arcsaber 10 2012 Edition?

I'd say save your money, the Arc10 is not worth the money. I've got two (which I got cheaply), original and PG version and although to me they are not playable, I'm a collector so will keep them in my collection.

If you've tried the 008 and think its good, then that's the obvious choice. No point getting a racquet that doesn't compliment your game.

the best way is to find any of your friend who has arcsaber 10 and test it yourself....
because what we feel maybe different than yours.....
but from my experience, there is difference between lower-end racket and higher-end racket, at least a bit.....
    i used VT9 before i get VT70....
what i feel is just less vibration when im using VT70 and i feel my swing a bit faster(maybe because of the slim shaft)....
anyway, it's better to test it yourself...
about arcsaber 10 2012 edition, i think it's the same with arcsaber 10, just different paint design and colour....

I think it is different, people said Arcsaber 10 is slightly head heavy
while arcsaber 008 is slightly head light

That would be quite good, cause I'm just not that strong, so a more head light racket would be ok. My Arcsaber Z-Slash TH Edition feels really heavy to me and I rarely play with it.

On the other hand I wouldn't have much smashing power with a head light racket right? But I guess I have no choice if I'm not that strong. :)

arcsaber 008 is not slightly headlight racket. it is slightly abit head heavy like arc10. can go try and swing both racket in game, then you will know both actually very close feeling.

so you are implying that arcsaber 008 would be a good cheap replacement for arcsaber 10?
those people who bought arcsaber 10 must be very unlucky then, they can get a racket with similar feel of arcsaber 10 for 1/2 price of it

wow, those in UK very lucky to get high end racket by just double the price.....
so far, the most expensive yonex rackets in Malaysia is Arc ZS and AT900P and AT900T which are RM 929.00(retail price).....
Arc 008 just around RM 200.....
    very large difference.....:(

I talked to one of BC member from Malaysia and I know the price in Malaysia is outrageous
the most expensive racket in UK (after the 20%-22.5% tax!) is VT Z-force limited edition: RM 872.4
    while z-slash is RM 762.5
and AT900P for RM 606 (no one wants an old racket like AT900P)

but in UK, usually the arcsaber 008 is around RM 293 (293 and 606 so only half of it)

that's quite expensive for a lower end racket like Arcsaber 008.....
you can get Arcsaber 009dx with that price(retail price for Arcsaber 009dx is RM 299) but with discount it should be lower.....
but the good thing is high end racket is cheaper....
except for VTZF Ltd, in Malaysia the retail price is RM 849, with discount maybe you can get around RM 700.....

Hi there, Malaysia still cheaper. You could get the racket after 30 to 30% off at Authorized Yonex Distributor. Z Force Limited is just rm590 with string of your choice and free selected grip ;p
