Every Olympian who wins fair and square deserves our highest respect. Well done, Sri Lanka, stand tall.

Niluka is a quality player, I've witnessed him play before and was impressed with his attacking play. He would be ranked higher but funding issues.

We didn't make him the flag bearer for nothing. All our hopes and blessings rested on his shoulders. But when we saw he was drawn against Kenichi Tago our faith in his sucess dimnished. But he has shown no matter how insurmountable the odds may seem if there is a will there is a way

    The thing about Olympics:
Some players just did unexpectedly well and later on in regular Super Series tournaments, they have nothing to shout about results-wise.

This is what I call tournament luck.

What soreloser ? He is obviously lucky like Ronald Susilo back in Athens 2004.

After and Before the Olympics, what have these players achieve in Super Series, Thomas Cup and Sudirman Cup standard ? Almost nothing.

They just do well in Olympics and after that, in other tournaments they just dont deliver.

Too many one - hit wonders in the Olympics. That's the thing i dislike. Extremely UNFORTUNATE to the top players like Kenichi Tago to fall prey to these kind of ridiculous Olympic pressure.

Let's just say practically anybody has a chance to stand on the medals podium. And you need more than just pure skills to do that, may the force be with you!
