Thoughts on this please, feels ok but not as nice as other rackets but they have different strings. I've been offered a free restring on it but I'll have to provide the string. Zymax 70 at 22/24. It's 10 strings up and one away from the middle. Just using it for casual lunch time games at work with plastics. Thanks in advance. [IMG] [IMG]

OK ignore the stringer fault or whatever (I did actually get supplied a free string in my last order anyway). Is this ok to play with or is it worth redoing? I should have said I did it myself, sigh.

Looks like free string included now too. I'm not going to waste them if it is still useable, I can ask for discount on the next job instead ;) if it wont hurt my arm/racket/game then I have no intention of cutting them.

it wont affect casual lunch time games. probably 1 in a thousand you'll hit the extra ridge and it may bobble the shuttle, but probably wont notice or affect it greatly enough to notice or worry about it.

As a professional stringer myself I would do a complete re-string for free as there is only one person to blame, however, don't get too annoyed as it is so easy to make a mistake like that, the amount of times I thought I had finished to then realise I had made a mistake and had to start over again, in my early days of stringing was amazing! I also wouldn't play with it as it will break extremely quickly and our shots will fly everywhere before that!

Free re-string offered. I can't be sure but I think I did hit that patch a few times as there were some very spongy feeling shots. Cut and restring with some 65 is my current plan. Much better!

I never allow misweaves on my own rackets, never mind customers'. Check the weave every six crosses (look along the diagonals) - that way you'll only ever have to go back a maximum of six if you mess it up.

I agree, I would never send out a customers racket with a mis-weave in, doesn't look particularly good!

very unprofessional to return racket with a mis-weave to begin with, whether it be forgetting to check for mis-weave or just right out ignoring it. glad you're able to get a restringing for free, that's the least they can do. since i'm not a pro stringer, i have way fewer rackets to string, so i take my time and check every other cross. :)
