Inconsistent and Attitude become the main enemy to Malaysia Players
Through my observation, there are two main difference between Malaysia Players and China Players:-
a) The attitude (the seriousness toward their sportmanship)
b) Discipline
Malaysia singles players have great potential to excel in world championship but their inconsistent form and attitude to the games make them face out even at the first round.
For Malaysia Team, I think only WOng Choon Hann really think about his games. The rest , badminton is a good source of income.
I don't like to mention it because it been 1 year ago when I spot Lee wan Wah at Starbucks ,IOI Mall. His making hell of the noice in the cafe like attracting people or want people to notice his presence. When I saw him, I was dismay by the way he act.
I think they should send for Military service. BEside able to shed off few kilos, military service can help them to be more mentality prepared and team work.
What do you think?

Re: Inconsistent and Attitude become the main enemy to Malaysia Players
It's actually nothing wrong for players like Lee WW to enjoy his night life in Starbucks or Hard Rock Cafe occasionally especially after some tough tournaments. Players like Sigit and Dong Jiong were reported to have done the same too.Originally posted by pptam

However, it will be dangerous when it became their routines/habits!

That must explain Dong Jiong's and Sigit's erratic performances.
Probably appliies maybe to Ji Xin Peng or James Chua.
Login to Badders.com where they have a very interesting discussion about
whether champions are born or made.

I heard Huang Sui/Gao ling were partying at Hard Rock cafe in Phillipines during Asian Badminton Championships - of course, take it as a rumour but the story was given to me by a good friend of mine

Starbucks is a coffee shop, right? Maybe he got high on the caffeine
