Boe/Mogensen spent all on the semifinal. Not sure how much is left in the tank. For that I voted C/F.

They have a chance only with the crowd behind them. The crowd will energise them. Also their win over KOR MD will give them confidence. But the crowd factor is the key because that helped them win yesterday.

Unlike the MS, this one is more clearcut. :)

head to head record certainly favors Cai/Fu at 6-2.

however, their meetings are scarce and only met once in the past year where Cai/Fu won.

Just like AlanY predicted, the Koreans froze in big situations. Not as clinical as usual in the semifinal match ...... and it cost them dearly.

Bronze will be scant consolation for them, especially CJS. But they should still get Bronze.

Hmmm.. maybe i am emotional over korea's loss :crying:... but frankly speaking I dun think Denmark stand a very gd chance against china.

Boe has an obvious weakness on his defence. Moreover, when he gets emotional, he makes errors, believe this will be exploited in the finals match unless Denmark can successfully employ the tatics used in the SF against the Chinese. However, I am rather skeptical because I feel Chinese players in general have great mental strength; mind games may not work well on them.

Not saying that Koreans do not have good mental strength. IMO, they have great fighting spirit and good mental strength. However, with the recent scandal resulting in the DQ of the WD players, the burden of winning a gold rested heavily on their shoulders.. the weight of the country's expectations may have played heavily on mind. It does not help that psychological games were played and the danes having "home support". IMO Koreans did not lose on the technical level, they lost on the mental level and this could have contributed to the yesterday's result.

    Just my two cents worth...

Bo/Mo do quite well in Europe. The crowd roots for them too.

But FHF/CY is still very tough despite a hostile crowd, linesmen and umpire.

I hope they will give us a match that we will never forget.

Agree, one of the rare times i see him rattled on court... not his usually cool and confident self...

fu/cai have many years of experience and imho they'll be able to handle the (un)gamesmanship and antics that bo/mo usually use to throw off lesser players

The difference is this. FuCai gets regular crowd support any tournament because CHN fans are everywhere because the Chinese are everywhere. BoMo do not usually get crowd support except certain places. So when they get crowd support, it can boost them to play at a higher level than normal. And they know how to keep the opponent guessing. That tactic drains and burns up a lot of mental energy. It can trigger a mental collapse.
