I finally had the chance to wear this shoe for play on Sunday. The shoe felt a little hard, maybe because it's brand new. I plan on playing tomorrow and will update then.

Have a pair of the orange ones coming. Once I had a couple sessions with them, I'll try and post a little something here

After a first session, I can only say they feel quite nice so far. Definitely softer than the 9000 both in cushioning (noticable: forefoot is higher in relation to the heel compared to the 9000, where the heel is significantly higher than the forefoot) and feel of stability. For me, however, that wasn't a problem so far, and actually felt kind of nice. The strap system is quite as it tightens the shoe around your foot, narrowing down empty (useless) space without squeezing the life out of your foot.
As is typical for all Victor shoe I've had so far, the soles were very slippery in this first session, and will continue to be so for another 2 weeks I guess.

To solve that problem of slippery soles, use some ammonia based window cleaner to clean.

By the way, for those who haven't figured it out already. The SH910 is an updated clone of the old AWS 9200 plus. I loved those so much that I bought 3 pairs for cheap, but this new one has the same sole and design in every shape and the only difference is the bracetek+ stuff instead of the old Anti-wrenching found in PS-8300 for example.

That said, I'm looking for a new pair of shoes and I'm not sure whether I should go with an update of what I loved, or go and try SH8500/ SH9000? <- sorry, slight hijack....

Can't answer that accurately yet - my 8500, while looking really good, have been banned to the reserve section until the 910 are done for Going by the pictures I found the 910 do indeed look like an adapted version of the AWS9200.
I certainly enjoy the 910 so far, and they should be cheaper than the 8500, so why not try them?

How does this shoes compare to the SHA850?

If someone knows how the SH-A850 feels like and would share it here, I'd really appreciate it.

I didn't play with but tried the SH910. They are noticably narrower than SH8500.
How is the SH-A850 compared to SH8500 and SH910?

I'm expecting a pair of 850 this wk... should've arrived last week but package got "misplaced" ... so should be able to compare with my previous 9000, which fit my wide feet perfectly btw.

Been wearing my A850 at the office for past few days to break them in. Fits slightly wider than 8500 but slighter narrower than 9000. But definitely more cushioning than both shoes. Both the insole and midsole is thicker and has more cushioning. Not so low to the ground feeling like the 9000. Will get a chance to play with it tmrw night.

Thanks a lot for sharing your minds.
Is the cushioning a lot more than the 8500? Can you still "feel" the ground despite the high cushioning?

    You can't compare a850 with a910, right?
