It looks like Yonex are going to go for a vintage look, I would prefer to get LCW ZF because the VT-ZFLTD is paint job but on LCW's racket it says "Stay strong and enjoy" on the frame

I took this from the badmintoncn.com thread of VT-ZF 88 showing detailed pictures & reason why they had this commemorative design.

YONEX chose to commemorate the B-9100 of the past for Mr. Minoru Yoneyama's 88th Birthday.

The metallic look on the shaft is just cool enough! However, room to improve at the look of the frame

This is what I call understatement. Opponents will think that you're using some crappy piece of stick and then you wipe them from the court. This must be so funny.

For those old enough, the colour is similar to the Yoneyama 9100 (not sure if it was Carbonex series) of the 70s. The frame was made of wood.

    my thoughts on this.

interesting idea and concept. to paint a modern racket with a vintage color scheme. certainly something that the diehard badminton/Yonex fans would get, esp when the price is very reasonable (Mr. Keen listing it at HK$1350 w/NBG99)

however, from what i can tell in the used market, all these limited editions are not something that is sought after by the average player. if someone want to have something that is limited, so be it. but for something who think the value will appreciate, it looks like from the market that something that is common but highly valued, like a cab20/AT700/Ti10 seems to hold and appreciate in value much much faster.
