M/Q Report version 1 (updated 17th August 2012) : http://www.bwfbadminton.org/file_download.aspx?id=390555&tid=1 From the entry list, much better line-up than previous week CHN Masters. Lee Young-dae new partner for XD here is Eom Hye-won while he will be paired up with Shin Baek-cheol in MD discipline.
Surely that's an error? Lee and Shin should have some notional points I would have thought?!?! Would have liked to see him paired with one of the Kim's or Kang Ji Wook.
Wow, BAM finally woke up as WD is concerned, CMK/LMY are getting sent here. Very strong field in MS, MD but average to weak in the other three events.
World top two rank WS had withdrawn, Wang Yihan and Li Xuerui. M/Q Report version 2 (updated 24th August 2012) : http://www.bwfbadminton.org/file_download.aspx?id=392876&tid=1
my initial though of the list is that the MS and WS are even comparable to a SSP event... until those chinese players withdrew
Hmm, Lin Dan's withdrawal is understandable but these two, to attend his wedding, assuming the date clashes?
Some KOR shuttlers had withdrawn, Shon Wan-ho, Lee Young-dae, Shin Baek-cheol according to M/Q Report version 3 (updated 31st August 2012) : http://www.bwfbadminton.org/file_download.aspx?id=395680&tid=1 Seeding Report version 1 (updated 31st August 2012) : http://www.bwfbadminton.org/file_download.aspx?id=395681&tid=1
Just read the wedding is set on 23rd Sep. Hmm,how's LCW going to make it to the wedding lunch/dinner as he's most likely to play in the final on that day?!
relax . Since 2007, Japan Open SS Final always started at 12 : 00 PM (11 : 00 AM China time), and MS match usually @ 2nd or 3rd match of the day. Still has more time for Wedding dinner . Wedding lunch is possible if MS final @ 1st match, and LCW win as quick as possible, plus no interview, and TSB or Rashid represent him during medal ceremony
Oh,I see, thanks;you're quite observant and detailed in always citing facts and figures (conclusions aside). Then, better dinner reception than lunch, too rush. In the absence of Lin Dan's participation, LCW is the clear favourite to take the title, don't see anyone to stop him at the moment.
Saina Nehwal, Tang Jinhua/Xia Huan had withdrawan, M/Q Report version 4 (updated 3rd September 2012) : http://www.bwfbadminton.org/file_download.aspx?id=398406&tid=1 Seeding Report version 2 (updated 3rd September 2012) : http://www.bwfbadminton.org/file_download.aspx?id=398405&tid=1
