RSL tourney equivalent in Yonex
What is the equivalent of RSL tourney in the YONEX departement? My club sells YONEX aeroclub 03 for 20$ and my friend sells me RSL Tourneys for 20$ also. I like the RSL Tourney and was randomly wondering what was the equivalent for yonex?
THANKS

I think the Tourney Classic are better than AS40. From what I have experienced they are about the same level as AS50s (can't judge which ones better because I don't haven't played much with AS50s)

Do you know where your friend gets those shuttles? That's quite a good price for Canada.

i played with yonex's, pro tech's and RSL's shuttlecock.....
for RSL, i used tourney no 1
for yonex, i used, AS10 and AS 30
for comparison, imo, RSL tourney no 1 is on par with AS10....
because both shuttles can stand for around 1-1.5 games(depends on level of play, this is for intermediate level)....
so i think RSL tourney classic maybe on par with AS30 or AS40....
if between aeroclub 03 and tourney no 1, i suggest you to buy RSL tourney no 1....

There is a huge difference between tourney no. 1 and tourney classic. I don't like the tourney no. 1 either.

You think...? :-/
I'd say RSL Tourney Classic is A LOT BETTER than AS30 or AS40.
I "think" Classic is very on par with AS50.
20$ is a really good price btw.
I don't know what the difference between Yonex AS and AC are, but it actually doesn't matter, because I'm trying to get cheaper, better shuttles from other manufacturers. Yonex market share is too high, imho

well, that just my assumption.....
i said before "i think".....
because i just played with RSL tourney no 1, so i think the classics maybe not too far better than the no 1 because the price is not too far.....
plus, the person at the store in my place also said the same thing....
RSL classics just comparable to AS30 at most.....
but i dont know if that's true or not, i might try it later on because for now i still have protech masterpiece and yonex AS30 in my bag....

As I already mentioned tourney classics are way better than tourney no 1. At a tournament I once compared tourney classics to AS-50s, I couldn't make out major differences in durability or flight quality.

I must be in the minority. I played with Yonex AS50, AS40, AS30 and RSL Tourney Classic. I found the RSL Tourney Classic to be on par with Yonex AS30.
Note: This is just my opinion.

I used Yonex, As50 and As40 most of the time play
Actually i also looking for substitution for it due to expensive price
Rsl Tourney Classic..Victor Master No1....Li-Ning A+300....Protech Platinum...
Still find that Victor and Protech more value for $$$
** just my personal point of view...

From my experience RSL tourney No. 1 are on par with AS30 and RSL tourney Classic on par with AS40. Aeroclub are duck feather and don't last long. In my opinion they are rubbish.

I still have both RSL Tourney No1 and Classic. The difference between these two are obvious. NO1 is not durable, flying pattern is close to Classics, not as good.
Yonex AS10 is far away from RSL No1 or Classics. AS10 may be as durable, but the feeling is not even close to both No1 or Classic.
RSL Classic may be close to AS 40 or AS50 initially, but not durable as both AS40 or 50 in my opinion. The big difference is that RSL has been using synthetic cork materials for a long time even on the top model RSL Classic, while AS40 or 50 are still natural cork. So AS40 and 50 will maintain flying consistence longer than RSL.

Forgot to say, all aeroclub are junk, 3, 5 and 7, not worth to mention.
