Balance the shaft of the racket on the tip of your index finger. Then, take a ruler and measure the distance from the end of the handle to your finger. Make sure the ruler is perpendicular to the shaft and handle of the racket though. This should give you a rough indication of the BP.

    Hope that helps!

Is there any standard how the racket should be (e.g. no strings or grip)?

the rackets' original BP(like stated in spec sheet) are without grips n strings....
when you put the string and grip, the BP could change.....

Without strings and grips are called dry BP... with strings and grips are called wet BP. That is what I've read in this forum.
