Frankly, I don't know why the difference. Perhaps it is the stringers. This is not unusual as I do see many split grommets on rackets of all brands that have been strung by stores and other stringers. Anyway split grommets are no different from loose grommets as both lose power during play and lose tension at rest.

Here is one tip on how to select a racket that has a better frame rigidity, which is essential for more power and crispness.
Have a look at the size and diameter of the middle 10 straight string grommets and the number of middle cross string grommets. The more straight and cross string grommets that are tight and narrow and stiff the better the racket frame. Say if you have 10 straight middle string grommets that are small and tight, this is better than another frame with only 8. The same applies to the cross middle string grommets.
