hey guys, want to know where i can buy online besides MBS and badmintonshoponline (i dont shop here) and e78.hk, that ships to AUSTRALIA? any ideas?
In australia there are some legit online shop such as: Stadium sports (they have account in ebay or their own website, I think on the website is more expensive than on ebay?) http://stores.ebay.com.au/Stadium-Sports http://www.stadiumsports.net.au/ they also have some stores in Melbourne: MELBOUNRE * BOX HILL ·MELBOURNE * CLAYTON SOUTH ·MELBOURNE * RICHMOND ·MELBOURNE * SUNSHINE WEST ·SYDNEY * LANE COVE WEST ·SYDNEY * BURWOOD Calibre Australia Same, have both, website and ebay (price on website and ebay are the same) http://www.calibreaustralia.com/badminton/catalog/ http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Calibre-Badminton-and-Sports-Depot
i was told that stores in melb are more expensive. i just want to find one online where its sort of cheaper? like if its straight from hong kong or taiwan, its cheaper than if we go to the stores to buy them at retail price?
well, the price to send a badminton racket and possibility for import tax might outweigh the price advantage that you get from buying from online shops outside Australia actually, it is cheaper to buy straight from the street vendor in HK (I mean go to HK and buy from there)
IMO the differences is not that much (between MBS with calibre or stadium sports) maybe only around $10-30 (CMIIW) don't forget you need to pay shipping fee, handling fee, and import tax, which might cost more than the $30 advantage
if u like victor/yonex eric from squashmart probably the best price if u order more racket. even if u don't order more still cheaper.
Not really, the taxes are high, I just shipped two JJS to Melbourne and it cost around 15% taxes on top of the price for rackets. So if you bought from shop there most likely will be similar price after the import taxes. p/s: you are lucky if you are not got the import taxes, as per my history, I sent for 10 shipments and it has 3 will be charged by import taxes. Same happened to Canada/US
You can also check out www.sportshorizon.com for Apacs, Yonex, RSL, Li-Ning or Fleet rackets, but they don't have Victor. Their rates are pretty reasonable and they ship overseas as well.
Lucas will probably get close to Eric @ squash_mart 's Victor prices, so if you can't wait then $20-30 bucks for the privilege seems fair. Lucas seems to get stuff in very quick, too - he had the iSlash in before I'd even heard about it - and even the JJS Meteor in very soon also. e78 and MBS are the two other consistently reliable places, as is Chris Aw in Singapore - E-Link Sports I think his business is called.
