this is definitely the biggest milestone for BF so far! we have reached 100,000 posts. that's a lot of posts!
Not really. If you count the quantity of 'quality' posts, then the count would be less than 5,000 I think.
Congratulation for the success. May many more badminton lovers come and share their views and opinions in this forum I think this site wouldn't be successful without the wisdom & supervision of our Moderators (Kwun & Cheung) and of course the sponsors and would be sponsors...
Poor Mag...All the work as a moderator and no credit Congratulations!! It's 100K and counting...Anyone want to take a guess at the next milestone of 200K??
yes, Mag is a moderator too! 1,000,000 posts, eh? that will be quite something, i think it will take a few years more... when we get there, i will organize a big celebration. not sure what or where though... the DB is a couple of hundred megabytes. i think BF is easily the biggest public English forum. there are some other big forums like the chinabadminton one, but in Chinese, and badders also, but they are mostly private forum that we don't see.
the 3 moderators together wrote 12% of all the posts! we need to get a life. or go play some more badminton or something.
If you started BC.com earlier before the bubble bursted, BC.com should be able to go public and you can be as rich as Jerry Yang of Yahoo.
haha! too bad the entrepreneurial skill is just not there! and then i spent all my time playing badminton...
Congraturation from Belgium CONGRATURATION to Kwun, Cheung and Mag. Especially to KWUN, the creater of this Forum. Hit a 150,000 posts is not simple. It means that this forum is the wel known in badminton world. I hope that this forum not only 'big' in quantity but also 'big' in quality.
Congrats! Recently the forum has been booming with new members, so hopefully the snowball effect will take place and we'll reach 1 mil in no time.
Yes! That's really good. Hopefully we can help stimulate more interest in badminton. The character of BF will change - that's inevitable with an increasing size. Hopefully, the proportion of posts by the three moderators will be decreasing!! And, all credit goes to Kwun for his effort in maintaining the website. I, rather shamefully to say, only play a bit part here.
