    Hey, new here. Anyway,

Can anyone give me approximate ratings of durability for both BG66UM and BG80 - i've heard they're both good for anything but durability? I hate changing strings, it's a hassle. Which one would last longer? (Yonex rates them both at 6 so that didn't help)

    Thanks in advance :D

I don't have "durability" complaints with bg66um however it does lose it's feeling VERY quickly. Not to say it loses all feel, I still think it's better than say bg65 for example.

BG80 should be more durable due to it is .03mm thicker than BG66UM.

Really? Haven't heard much about the BG80P, thought BG80 and BG66UM were the front runners in Yonex strings. Any other opinions on BG80P?

i was reading your comment and had a thought.

does any one know if the yonex durability rating is for "how long til it breaks" or "how long til it loses its feel"?

After using BG66U for quite sometime, I have decided to give up this string. It is excellent in the beginning but once its tension dropped, the string is basically 'dead'... and it losses tension fast. Erm....
