    ok i think there has been a previous post about this topic but i cant seem to find it...but how to you post pics? not fermiliar with html...:eek:

    When u post a thread, right above the "Submit" button, there's "Attach file". Browse ur file, and attach it. I believe the the size limit is 180K. Therefore, under 640*480 in deminsion should be a safe choice.

    hot linking pics without uploading them are still not allowed i believe. Still no reason why.:confused:

    nope it doesnt work. (YES i have the image tags correctly placed.) Direct linking is indeed disabled. You only get the link but not the image. I used:

    Sorry kwun I agree with brl on this one. We have to upload the pic to this site instead of direct linking. I would've thought direct linking would be better so we could just link multiple pics in each message and it would cut down on your server space usage.

    he was talking about direct linking. You always could upload pics but that isn't as efficient as it would slow down the BF rig as well as limit you to certain file types with certain sizes.

    the drawback with linking is that there is no control of the source image. and if the image got deleted, then some context of the post is lost.

    if it is an attachment, at least we can guarantee that the image will be around as long as BF will be.
