Singles Players in York Region / LF Singles Practice

Hello everyone,

I am looking for one or more people to play singles with regularly. I have played on school teams (high school & post-secondary) for 8 years, and I have a lot of OBA tournament experience. I am looking for competitive intermediate -> advanced players that wish to practice and improve their singles game (as I do). If interested, give me a shout ~

Hi d2012, you many want to try Machi training center in Aurora. There are players there who like playing singles. It's hard to find time and courts to play Singles in many recreational clubs.

I agree that it is difficult to find court time at recreational clubs for singles, and I try to stay away from that. Usually the best thing to do is have two or more people book a court in advance for a few hours at a time. If anyone is interested in this option, please let me know

Hey im also interested in finding badminton partner to train with as well. I would say im intermediate and lately I developed a huge passion for this sport and would like play as much as I can. Tho I might not meet your standard of advance playing and tournament experience but if u dont mind I definitely would like to play. I'm from York region as well, give me a shout!

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner - anyways right now I already have practice partners and my schedule is full. A few of the other players on the thread got together at Machi Training Center in Aurora, and play mostly doubles during the week.

You might want to try the group - All about Singles - at Agincourt Open in Scarborough. My friend trains there Sunday mornings and his coach offer singles training on Saturdays. I am very tempted. Contact info given to me is 416-509-9288. $25 per session that last a couple of hours.
