Will Asian players perform badly in HK Open?

    There might be a good chance of this happening.

    After German Open, the European based players get a 3 week break to prepare for the HK Open. However, the Asian players also have to cope with the Asian badminton championships.......so less rest....

    Another thing that struck my mind is the climate in the QE stadium, very cold and windy. The wind would affect every player, but to go from a hot humid climate just outside the main doors, to a chilly climate in the stadium and in the Shatin sport centre as well.

    This is the main reason that the Chinese team quit from the ABC (no ranking points), as Li Yongbo stated.
