I usually used Yonex Supergrap over the original grip of my VT 70, however, I removed it to apply towel grip. Personally, I find PU more comfortable and I'm concerned since the original grip left residue, causing uneven surface area. Is this normal, and should I try to remove it and how can I try to restore the my original set-up? Using 2 overgrips?

    Thanks :/

Yeah, personal choice. I can't stand them myself but I know a lot of people who swear by them and generally tends to be those who have very sweaty hands in my experience.

I don't have sweaty hands and much prefer tacky grips. I don't like the uncertainness, inconsistency feel of towel grips, to me it slightly masks the communication of the racquet and the feel of the edges of the grip.

The towel grip can be uncomfortable when it wet. Need to change regularly
