Well the entry list is not impressive at all for a GPG. Still some aftermaths from the olympics I guess

lets see how consistent Linda is. after entering final and sf stage in Vietnam GP and INA GPG respectively.. now she has bright chance to enter SF.. Gu Juan is waiting in QF, baring any uspets.
ditto for Ricky/Richie, hopefully they could cruise until SF, most likely their opponents are either Rijal/Debby or Kido/Pia.
Ricky/Ulin have good chance to enter SF too.
good luck

MS R64
Wisnu Yuli Prasetyo vs Albertino Filipe Jorge De Assis - Wisnu will have to play 2 matches today if he can overcome the PHI player in the first round.
Chong Wei Feng vs Alamsyah Yunus [7] - a tough first round match against Chong Wei Feng for Alam. Let's see what he's made of.
WS R32
Chang Ya Lan vs Maziyyah Nadhir - not sure what to call here. I don't think Maziyyah has a future in Pelatnas.
Hera Desi [7] vs Lydia Cheah Li Ya - a tricky match for Hera and I hope she fulfills her seeding.
Tai Ching Chieh vs Lindaweni Fanetri - Linda is slowly regaining her form and I think she could progress to at least QF again this week.
MD R32
Lee Sheng Mu/Tsai Chia Hsin vs Markis Kido/Alvent Yulianto Chandra - Fang/Lee are split? Or is this just temporary? Kido/Alvent should progress.
Markus Fernaldi Gideon/Agripinna Prima Rahmanto Putra [4] vs Chen Chung Jen/Lin Yen Jui - I hope that Markus/Agri can fulfill their seeding this week and face Rian/Angga for a place in the Final.
Chiu Chun Wei/Liao Chun Chieh vs Muhd Ulinnuha/Ricky Karanda Suwardi [3] - ditto for Ulin/Ricky who also have the chance to go all the way to the Final.
WD R32
Chang Ching Hui/Chang Hsin Tien vs Gebby Ristiyani Imawan/Tiara Rosalia Nuraidah - I have a feeling Tiara is more compatible with Suci as results in PON showed. Tiara may also be suited to life in XD than WD with Gebby. They should progress to R16 but will probably be stopped there.
Chou Chia Chi/Yang Chia Chen vs Pia Zebadiah Bernadeth/Rizki Amelia Pradipta - Pia/Rizki to continue their good form and will face a tough match against the second-seed Poon/Tse tomorrow.
XD R32
Chan Tsz Kit/Mong Kwan Yi vs Markis Kido/Pia Zebadiah Benadeth - the siblings to progress and will have an interesting clash with the top-seed Rijal/Debby tomorrow.
Alvent Yulianto Chandra/Rizki Amelia Pradipta vs Ong Jian Guo/Woon Khe Wei - the MAS pair should advance.

Thanks to withdrawals, the barely heard of Chu Han Chou clears rounds 1 and 2 without lifting a racket, as does the equally unfamiliar Wan Chia Hsin. Madness!

On paper scenario, Tai TY should meet Yip PY and Gu Juan in last four and final respectively.
