Dear friends: I am looking for another racket , comparable to N90 1st gen, in term of head heavy, stiffness, 3u, able to string up to tension 30, 3U. Balance point 300-305 mm. ?? Any kind hearted people can help me ? Thanks!
Off the top of my head: Armortec 700, Voltric 80, Voltric z force, Meteor x80, Meteor xJJS, Super wave 35? (I think?)
After my armotec 700 head burst at tension 27, i dare not buy yonex anymore, u sure VT 80 , Z force can string to 30 tension ?
Friend, show online is 288 ± 3mm. By the way, balance point is for??? hehe, really dont know And why not buy back the same racket if it is suit for you???
I believe the higher the balance point , eg z force racket 300+ mm balance point. The more power and stiffness is the racket.
Higher balance point means heavier head, and potentially more powerful smashes, solid feel, clears, etc. Balance point is different to stiffness though (it is rated separately).
Because if there is another racket that is better than N90 in term of stiffness or balance point, no harm buying it ...
i know for a fact that Meteor x80 can go up to 30lbs, and i don't think superwave35 is nearly as heavy as the n90 but it is head heavy. however i have never strung my sw35 at 30lbs.
Think the mx80 is head heavy?? Also voltric 80 and z force can handle 30 lbs easy. They are only warrantied to 27lbs (not sure about the 80) but you know Peter gade and lee chong Wei are using those 2 rackets and they are probably closer to 35 lbs.
After making a research for 1 day: 1) N90 balance point 294 - 300 , tension up to 28. 2) Victor LYD 295 - 305 , tension up to 28 3) Victor MX80 295-305 , tension up to 28 4) Victor JJS 295-305 , tension up to 28. 5) Z force 295-305 , tension up to 27. So bros, if from these 5 in terms of value for money and suitable for doubles, which one is better?
LYD is playing with a tension round about 32-33lbs. So it should suit for your 30lbs. It's also a very good doubles-racket - IMO.
I strung my SW35 at 30lbs and there is nothing wrong with. The SW35 can take easily 30lbs with a good and experienced stringer. My BP is around 310mm with string and a thin towelgrip direct on wood. It's head heavier than the MX80 and a tiny bit less stiff. Maybe it's the best choice to replace your N90. You can get it a decent price, too.
Hi Friends: I am looking for MX 80 and BS LYD.. Any friends want to sell pls whatsapp me at 81135874. Thanks
