anyone can recommend a light racket like Proace platinium 4u 2g, with great control, n but pack with more power? mayb a 3u2g also can ?...thks * i have a yonex ti-10 of few weeks old..but somehow still not use to it...*smile*
yang yang tactic 8500, which i believe is now called JSmash 8500. I own the tactic and remember it being a pretty good racket that fits the description of what you want.
I've always liked my Black Knight M2008QC. It's lite (79g) and powerful. Well, at least for me. -Rick
Carlton AS 1, a very powerfull racket and light as well. The Superlite is very light but not as powerfull as the AS 1.
I'll recommend the ISO Slim 10 used by the great Peter Gade (if you can find one) Although it rate at 2U but extremely fast and easy on the swing and powerful too.
one thing - the how tight can i string those rackets u guys recommended ? Me personally quite used to 24lbs above.... Regards
I don't advice over 24lbs if you plan to go Yonex lest you end up making their marketing division rich...
Yonex should be OK up to late 20's and possibly 30lbs, I've had my AS 1 up as far as 40lbs with no side effects. If you want to know how it played see the thread on various string tensions
My experience: 1. Winex MM90: Light, long, ISO head, head light, powerful if u can generate enough speed in ur swing. 2. SOTX Woven 4A: Long, ISO head, head heavy, even "weak" ppl like me can generate powerful backcourt smash, if I can hit the sweet spot. 3. Yangyang Tactic 8500: Regular, Oval head, balanced. Decent power packed with amazing control placement.
also, you should try the fake/cloned Ti-10 it's incredibly light and POWERFUL, strung at 25lbs with bg ti-68.
I tried proace platinum 110 once when my friend lent it to me, i was using the mp77 that time, it is good at fast swing, but not powerful due to lack of weight at the head and not very stable on hitting. Try yonex ti sp SR series or armortec or mp88 , they are light, quite head heavy and more stable on hitting. Maybe proace or other cheaper brands may have something similar, i do not know.
hmm well.. i would suggest Armortech... firstly... armortech are 4u racquets.... which means extremely light... but they are also very head heavy.. thus maximing momentum... giving out more power...
i would suggest gosen 3500 series.. light and powerful. At700 4u is good also..but the gosen is lighter
